Horseshoe Curve National Historic Landmark

Horseshoe curve is a place along the rail line just west of Altoona where the tracks really do make a horseshoe curve, making a complete 180-degree turn. It's also relatively busy (60+trains/day) which makes it a train-watching paradise.
